Am 19. Februar 1980 starb einer der größten Rock´n´Roll-Sänger aller Zeiten: Ronald BelfordScott. Diese DVD mit raren Aufnahmen aus der goldenen Phase von AC/DC, einer der größten Bands der Musikgeschichte, bringt den Mann mit der rauen Stimme wieder zurück in das Gedächtnis der Fans. Bon Scott wurde durch Brian Johnson ersetzt, der mittlerweile seit über 30 Jahren Bandmitgliedist. Johnson wird aber immer noch als der 'neue AC/DC'-Sänger tituliert womit ausgedrückt wird, dass Bon Scott DER AC/DC-Sänger war. Seine unverwechselbare, nasale Stimme prägte den AC/DC-Sound wie kaum ein anderes Element. ELEMENTAR!

2010 archive release that contains rarely heard concert footage from the model, actress and vocalist. On looks alone, Grace Jones has become an import part of our pop culture. More so than any model of her era, she proved that models could be strong and sensual instead of wispy, helpless and frail. Musically, she transcends genres, incorporating Pop, Disco, Reggae, New Wave and other styles into the mix. These live performances were taped in 1981 while on tour promoting her album Nightclubbing. Her striking looks and ground-breaking music are perfect recipes for a feast for the eyes, ears, heart and soul.

The first 11 tracks appear to be from the 1982 VHS/Laserdisc, One Man Show, with the rest of the tracks probably from live appearances in 1985.

Con las voces de Vicky Larraz, Marta Sánchez y Sonia Santana, el CD recoge las 17 grandes canciones de Olé Olé y el DVD seis videoclips y 24 actuaciones en TVE nunca publicadas anteriormente.

A principios de los pasados años 80, la música española hervía. Emergían grupos y artistas de todos los estilos y al amparo de ese terreno fértil apareció Olé Olé, formado por el teclista Luis Carlos Esteban (que procedía de Trastos), el bajista Emilio Estrecha (de Plástico), el batería Juan Tarodo y el guitarrista argentino Gustavo Montesano (que en su país había formado parte de Crucis). Al frente, la voz poderosa y sensual de Vicky Larraz.

En 1983, Nacho Cano ofreció a Olé Olé una canción: No controles. Sería su primer gran éxito, defendido por un grupo de buenos músicos y con un estilo tecno pop de gran dinamismo y sonido tecno-british. No controles traspasó fronteras, triunfó en Italia y dio paso a otros éxitos como Dame, Conspiración (una adaptación de la ópera Carmen de Bizet que se lanzó en Europa) y Adrenalina, incluídas en su primer álbum. Su segundo disco se publicó en 1984 y los éxitos continuaron con los singles Voy a mil y Caminemos. Tras finalizar la gira de presentación, Luis Carlos Esteban y Vicky Larraz abandonaban Olé Olé. Llegaba el momento de Marta Sánchez.

Procedente del grupo Cristal Oskuro, Marta Sánchez se presentó con Lilí Marlen, una versión de la célebre canción alemana escrita en 1937 que adquirió una enorme popularidad durante la II Guerra Mundial. Con Lilí Marlen como avance, Olé Olé lanzó en 1986 su tercer álbum (Bailando sin salir de casa) que también contenía la canción Déjame sola, que alcanzó el Disco de Oro y consolidó a Marta Sánchez como una de las grandes voces del pop español.

El cuarto disco del grupo se publicó en 1987 bajo el título de Los caballeros las prefieren rubias y con un nuevo nº1: Sola (con un desconocido). Otras canciones como Yo soy infiel, Secretos, Ansiedad o Poema en el avión aseguraron el Disco de Platino y situaron a Olé Olé en una situación de privilegio en la escena pop española, que continuó con el álbum Cuatro hombres para Eva (1988), también Platino. Fue el año en el que la banda lideró el número de conciertos y comenzó a adquirir popularidad en América Latina. Dos años después apareció su sexto disco (1990) grabado en Estados Unidos con la ayuda de Nile Rodgers, reconocido por su trabajo con Chic y Madonna. Rodgers produjo y compuso Soldados del amor, un nuevo nº1 que convirtió el álbum en el más vendido de Olé Olé con Doble Platino y otras canciones de éxito como Con solo una mirada.

En 1991, Marta Sánchez abandonó Olé Olé para iniciar una carrera en solitario y la banda incorporó a Sonia Santana, con la que se grabó Al descubierto, su séptimo y último disco, lanzado con una magnífica balada, No mueras posibilidad. Fue el canto de cisne de Olé Olé, que después intentó revivir en 2007 con Luis Carlos Esteban, Gustavo Montesano y la nueva voz de Marta Domínguez, que brilla en la canción Amor de aire, uno de los temas que se incluían en el disco de 2007 Grandes éxitos y otras terapias de grupo.

Es la historia que se recoge en el CD+DVD Olé Olé. Grandes éxitos, un álbum que refleja la trayectoria de uno de los grupos claves del pop español de los 80 y que alcanzó enorme popularidad. En el CD aparecen las canciones de Olé Olé con Vicky Larraz (No controles, Dame, Conspiración, Voy a mil), con Marta Sánchez (Bailando sin salir de casa, Lili Marlen, Déjame sola, Sola (con un desconocido), Yo soy infiel, Secretos, Tragedia familiar, Búscala, Sólo es un viaje, Soldados del amor, Con solo una mirada) y con Sonia Santana (No mueras posibilidad, Volaba yo).

El DVD contiene abundantísimo material, la mayoría nunca publicado. Hay seis videoclips, de los que tres son con Marta Sánchez (Lili Marlen, Soldados del amor, Con sólo una mirada), dos con Sonia Santana (No mueras posibilidad, Adiós) y uno con Vicky Larraz (Conspiración). Pero además, en este DVD se incluyen 24 actuaciones de Olé Olé en TVE, grabadas entre 1983 y 1992 y procedentes de los programas Estudio abierto, Tocata, Viva 84, Ahí te quiero ver, Entre amigos, Directo en la noche, Sábado noche, A tope y Rockopop, entre otros. Ahí están canciones como No controles, Adrenalina, Conspiración, Pasos de mujer, Caminemos o Voy a mil (cantadas por Vicky Larraz); Lili Marlen, No te necesita, Bailando sin salir de casa, Déjame sola, Sola, Yo soy infiel, Ansiedad, Poema en el avión, Cuatro hombres para Eva, Búscala, Soldados del amor o Con solo una mirada (por Marta Sánchez) y No mueras posibilidad (por Sonia Santana). Y como guinda-bonus track, en el DVD se incluye Amor de aire, procedente de la gala Drag Queen de 2007, con la voz de Marta Domínguez. Es la historia de Olé Olé al completo.
