Allerdings sollte man dazu sagen, dass die Qualität der MCN oftmals
ziemlich bescheiden ist und wie DJ Wolferl schon sagte, sind den Machern irgendwann ziemlich die Ideen ausgegangen sind...

Mittlerweile gibt's ja auch einiges an offiziellen Re-Issues, die
sich da schon eher lohnen, wie z.B. die beiden Alben von Streets
(genial!), Prism (ich sage nur: Dirty Mind & Nightmare), Treat usw.
Allerdings gibt's natürlich gerade im Rockbereich auch vieles an
Bootlegs (z.B. Robert Tepper, Glen Burtnick, Orphan usw.)
und auch bei meiner Tindrum Best of-CD habe ich den Verdacht,
dass das Teil von zweifelhafter Herkunft ist.

CU Obsession

Kleiner Tip: zur Zeit wird in alles Fillialen von Drogeriemarkt Müller der Sampler "Dancerock Classics" für glatte 10 Euronen verramscht! Auf dieser CD finden sich auch einige Songs der MCN wieder, wie z.B. "Fortune Teller" von Cannata oder auch das Kultteil "Wölfe" von F.L.T.
Also, nix wie zu Müller und schnell sein! Ansonsten sind die "Rock Rarities"-Sampler von Hangloose-Records sehr empehlenswert (Hangloose haben übrigens ihren Sitz in München, so ein Zufall...). Hab ich auch schon in manchen Müllergeschäften gesehen, oder zu bestellen bei: www.hangloose-records.com

Nur so nebenbei: In Regensburg war am 23.02. Schallplatten-und Cd-Börse. Ich bin wieder ein Vermögen losgeworden, unter anderem ist mir die Best-Of-CD von Chilliwack zugelaufen. Supergeil! Vor allem die Nummer "I´m Comming To You"!!!!! Hört sich fast an wie Icehouse, irre stark!

Übrigens: Nicht nur Ralf Scheepers hatte ein "Leben nach TP". Drummer Edgar Patrik war z.B. nachher noch u.a. bei BONFIRE.

Nachdem jetzt endlich der 6. und (in 1-2 wochen kommt nun auch der 7. Satz)
herausgekommen ist(wird), kann man sich endlich wieder auf guten bis sehr guten rock einstellen.Die letzten sätze waren eine sichte pop-kagge finde ich.
Vol. 57-66 ist zwar von der aufmachung extrem billig, aber guter rock, und die soundqualität ist auch ok.Hat mit den "richtigen"MCN's fast nix mehr zu tun. Bei Vol.67-76(durfte schon mal probehören)kommt endlich auch mal wieder absoluter spitzenrock zu gehör, auch endlich mal wieder viel rares dabei. Kommen aber erst so in ca. 2wochen raus!Ich freu mich schon drauf.
