Allerdings kann es sein, dass ich mit der Auswertung erst am darauffolgenden Sonntag dienen kann, da ich an dem Samstag gegen späten Nachmittag auf einer Hochzeit eingeladen bin und noch nicht weiß, ob ich dazukomme, die Auswertung davor zu machen.

Dann gebe ich meine Wertung auch gleich mal ab. Ich finde den Monat nicht sonderlich prickelnd, denn eigentlich gefallen mir nur vier Titel richtig gut (und die werden dann natürlich auch gleich mit Punkten bedacht). Den überwiegenden Teil der Songs finde ich einfach durchtbar. Selbst Songs von Interpreten, die ich sonst gerne mag (z.B. Eurythmics, Starship, Phil Collins) finde ich bestenfalls Durchschnitt. Und über meine andere Neuzugänge schweige ich mich aus. Bin allerdings schon gespannt, wie sich diese Titel in der Runde schlagen werden.

"A love bizarre" fand ich damals wirklich klasse. Vielleicht weil es nach Prince klang, aber nicht richtig "Prince" war, sondern eben Sheila E. (auch wenn er bei der Produktion seine Griffel mit im Spiel hatte). Meinen damaligen Englischlehrer habe ich damals zur Weißglut gebracht, da ich damals das Wort "bizarre" inflationär verwendet habe und grundsätzlich versucht habe, es in jede Antwort, Hausaufgabe oder Schulaufgabe einzubauen (That´s a rather bizarre question that you´re asking). Das hat ihn echt angenervt.

Ansonsten hatte ich im Februar 1986 beim Skifahren in Österreich einen Beinbruch (im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes). Seltsam, an was man sich alles erinnert.
