Klingt sehr interessant.
[quote]BLUE TEARS, a melodic Hard Rock outfit from Tennessee, was founded by frontman Greg Fulkerson at the tender age of 17 years of age with college friends, some of whom he had known since he was 8 or 9. Progressing from High School gigs to bigger shows in front of 1'000 strong crowds, BLUE TEARS would be helped out by a local radio station that would frequently play the band's early demos. Some of these demos, mostly recorded in Fulkerson's bedroom, were used as a blueprint, of sorts, when it came to recording their debut album.
Local radio exposure led to a tape getting into the hands of Los Angeles based management company Left Bank, headed by Allen Kovac, who signed BLUE TEARS. A recording contract with MCA Records followed.
The track 'Innocent Kiss' was actually recorded by TIM KARR for his 'Rubbin' Me The Right Way' album before the original had been released on the 'Blue Tears' album. Fulkerson subsequently worked with ex-STRYPER frontman MICHAEL SWEET on Sweet's debut solo album. By 2002 Fulkerson and bassist Michael Spears were touting a fresh band venture entitled ATTRACTION 65.
Word arrived in early 2005 that newly established Australian label Suncity Records was due to issue archive BLUE TEARS tracks with a press release also hinting at possible new material. Returning to live action, BLUE TEARS put in their inaugural UK showing with an appearance at the November 'Firefest 2' festival held at Nottingham's Rock City, alongside HAREM SCAREM, POWER QUEST, SARACEN, BALANCE OF POWER, DANGER DANGER and HOUSE OF LORDS.
