Neues Album von Kim Wilde
Vom ganzen Album ist aber wirklich nur die erste Single schlecht. Der Rest vom Album gefällt mir sehr gut. Das hätte ich der Kim nach der Single gar nicht zugetraut.

Die neuen CD verkauft sich gut. Das hat Kim auch verdient. Ich fand die Frau immer toll

Worms – Mit seiner Show am Freitagabend bietet der SWR dem Rheinland-Pfalz-Tag einen glanzvollen Auftakt – vor Ort auf dem Marktplatz, aber auch live im SWR Fernsehen zur besten Sendezeit ab 20:15 Uhr. Neben musikalischen Größen wie Kim Wilde und Nik Kershaw empfängt Moderator Martin Seidler am 1. Juni außergewöhnliche Sportler, innovatives Handwerk, überraschende Erfolge und "versteckte" Stars. Die Sendung ist ein Kaleidoskop unterschiedlichster Disziplinen und beeindruckender Lebensleistungen. Wie in den vergangenen Jahren soll die Show zu einem musikalischen Highlight werden. Mit der mehrfach Grammy-nominierten SWR Big Band treten in einer exklusiven Zusammenarbeit internationale Künstler sowie aus Deutschland und aus dem Südwesten auf. Spezielle Arrangements werden dafür verfasst, besondere Sounds entwickelt, Musiker zusammengeführt. Das Ergebnis sind stimmgewaltige, überraschende und einmalige musikalische Joint Ventures, die mit sieben Kameras und ausgefeilter Tontechnik perfekt in Szene gesetzt werden. Helden, Poplegenden und der 1000 Jahre alte Dom. In diesem Jahr steht die englische Poplegende Kim Wilde aus England mit ihrem Bruder Ricky auf der Bühne. Dazu kommen Nik Kershaw, außerdem Bell Book & Candle aus Berlin, Fools Garden aus Pforzheim sowie Benoby, ein Newcomer der Singer-Songwriter-Szene. Ebenfalls eine entscheidende Rolle innerhalb der 90-minütigen Show spielt die gastgebende Stadt. Die weltberühmte Nibelungensage wird wieder in aufsehenerregenden Festspielen aufgeführt. Intendant Nico Hoffmann ebenso wie die Schauspielerin Ursula Strauss und ihr Kollege Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht erzählen, wie sie der Legende neues Leben auf der außergewöhnlichen Theaterbühne vor dem Wormser Dom "einhauchen" wollen. Der Dom selbst wird in diesem Jahr 1000 Jahre alt. Auch seine Geschichte ist Teil der Show, indem die neuen Glocken läuten – fachmännisch erläutert vom Wormser Künstler Klaus Krier und dem Vorsitzenden des Dombauvereins. Außerdem eingeladen ist die "Einradfamilie" Boder aus Argenthal. Deluxe editions of Kim's first three albums
On the back of Kim’s recent studio album 'Here come the aliens' (and companion live collection), her first three albums 'Kim Wilde', 'Select' and 'Catch As Catch Can' are being re-released by Cherry Pop on January 31, 2020.
Each album is being presented as a plush 2CD+DVD expanded gatefold wallet boasting a raft of previously unissued tracks and new remixes, as well as new coloured vinyl editions. All of the tracks have been remastered by Tom Parker from fresh transfers of the original analogue tapes. All of the new and previously unheard material has been given the blessing of Kim herself. Additionally, each package includes lyrics, rare photos and memorabilia plus new sleeve notes written by Kim Wilde expert Marcel Rijs.
The albums can be pre-ordered from today. All pre-orders via the Cherry Red website will include an exclusive postcard with a message written by Kim printed on the back. (Links to pre-orders below.)

Reissued as an LP for the first time since the Eighties, the album is pressed on limited edition yellow vinyl, remastered from fresh transfers of the original analogue tapes. The original artwork has been faithfully recreated, with the addition of a brand new inner sleeve featuring a stunning portrait shot of Kim plus full lyrics.
The 2CD+DVD edition features all the B-sides and alternative mixes from the era, plus a disc of newly created remixes. None of the singles from this album were ever originally issued as 12" mixes but, exclusively for this release, new 2019 mixes of 'Kids In America', 'Chequered Love' and 'Water On Glass' have been created from the original multi track reels. These include faithful Eighties-style extended versions and more radical reinterpretations of these classic hits. The bonus DVD includes promo videos for 'Kids In America' and 'Chequered Love' (including a previously unseen unedited "shower" version), plus four performances from Top Of The Pops.

Nicht übel, aber wieso nur Album 1 bis 3?
Teases & Dares hätte ich lieber in den Händen. Mit allen Remixen & Versionen von Go for It.

hmm habe ich eigentlich eher den Wunsch nach einer DVD / Blu Ray auf der die Videos zusammengefasst drauf sind ... die tausend Mixes finde ich ehrlich gesagt unnötig und die CD's an sich hat man ja ... ist ganz schön fies diesmal ... da eine Video CD genauso wenig existiert wie Live Aufnahmen (meine alte Konzerte !) ... die kommen dann bestimmt irgendwann beim nächsten Release ... ist ja noch ein wenig Zeit zum überlegen:schaem:
PS: Die Versionen dieser CD's sind scheinbar noch nicht vorbestellbar bei Amazon, mich würde ja mal der Preis interessieren

Was ich nicht wusste... Seit Jahren gibt es von Cherry Pop die Special Edition von Teases & Dares. Darauf sind alle Albumlieder, Remixe und Extended Versionen. Die CD habe ich mir geholt, solange will ich nicht auf eine (möglichen) VÖ einer (möglichen) Deluxe Edition mit den Musikvideos.
