Hommage Records ist ein neuegegründetes norwegisches Label, das sich ganz der norwegischen elektronischen Musik aus den 80ern verschrieben hat.
Das erste Release ist direkt ein Paukenschlag.
Mit "Maskindans" (Maschinentanz) erscheint ein nahezu vollständiges Kompendium norwegischer Minimalelektronik und vergleichbarer Musik.

Tracks from Tromsø up North to Arendal in the South, tracks recorded as early as 1980 and up to 1988, tracks shorter than two minutes and longer than six, spanning dark wave, avant garde, synth pop and most genres in between; songs that were hits on Norwegian radio and songs that have been totally obscure for 20 years or more. Maskindans is an impressively broad and thorough presentation of the finest Norwegian '80s electronics.

Furthermore, the CDs will be presented in a deluxe package with outsize booklet, two separate digipaks and outer slipcase. Hommage Records are currently working on gathering pictures and information for this release, and collecting the last remaining original masters before taking these to Norway's finest remastering studio. We're sorry you can't have this package as a christmas gift, but we have every confidence that listeners will love this release from January and well into the future.
